About Me : I was a Marketing Exec for a large real estate development company before starting my own boutique marketing firm in 2007. My clients ranged from hotel and restaurant groups to fashion and retail. This company is what brought me to LA and allowed me to be bi-coastal for 5 years until I got married in 2012. I then turned my focus to starting a family and had my oldest daughter Moorea in 2013. I was a stay at home mom but probably hosted 2 dozen parties over the next two years just to stay creative before starting my newest company Bashery & Co. while pregnant with my youngest daughter. This past year has been insane but I loved every minute of it! My new venture has really taken off and has evolved more into party styling and design, which I'm obsessed!

Why do you want to be a part of heymama?: I always want to surround myself with a community of like minded, inspiring and supportive women, especially mamas. I am a girls girl who loves loves loves to help and learn from other women, heymama is where it's at. The level of quality that you project is what is really interesting and exciting to me.
What are your brand goals for this year?: I just launched this new company in April (the same month I had my second daughter!) and have been hustlin' since then. Sometimes doing 5 events in one weekend just to get my name out there and gain exposure. I knew I would do that in the beginning but I have gotten so busy - a little too busy. So, I want to reflect on the past 7 months over the next two months and plan out 2017 with a greater focus. Working more with brands is a goal for sure and really establishing myself as a creative stylist whether it be for events, parties, brands, photo shoots.
Words you live by/quotes you love: You miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
“When you come to the edge of all the light you know,
and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown,
FAITH is knowing one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Barbara Winter
Best advice you’ve ever been given?: I was just finishing my MBA and considering a few job opportunities and the high paying jobs were going to take over my life but at 21 I liked the thought of the money. I asked my mom who was very successful in her field but never made a lot of money what she would do and she said "there is something about waking up everyday and loving what you do." I chose the interesting and exciting jobs from then on and never looked back. I continue to ask myself that question when a new opportunity presents itself.
