Lives In: Portland, OR
About Me: I own and run Darling Clementine, a children’s shop I opened online in 2011 while living in Brooklyn. Though I’ve lived in 3 states and in 3 countries in my life, I’d say I am a New Yorker at heart. I recently moved from NYC where I had been living since 2000 to Portland, Oregon. My family (Juliette 6, Jack 19 months and Husband Kevin) needed a change, some more space and the great outdoors. It’s been quite a change but we’re jumping in with both feet and aren’t looking back. I can usually be found working with my children nearby, and iced coffee in one hand and a smile on my face. I love what I do and don’t think of it as a job, it’s my life.

Best advice you’ve ever been given: this too shall pass. We can find ourselves going down the rabbit hole when things don’t go our way, the darkness can be too much but if you just realize in the grand picture of your life, this is a moment and it too shall pass. We all have struggle, it’s how we handle it that matters.
Best advice you’d give to someone starting out: You’ve gotta climb those tough mountains to get to where you need to be, you can’t be handed things, the business needs to you learned, you fail and get back up again.
Where can we find you?
