About Me: Laguna Beach is where I spent my childhood surrounded by the natural landscapes and seaside. My formative years as a model took me to Europe developing a love for travel, art, adventure and style. After my first two children I was determined to keep adventure in my life yet do what I love. As I transitioned to the other side of the lens and became a visual artist I found my niche, children and adolescents. After years of curating advertising and fashion photography for others, I set to launch my new baby Mini-Maven.com & Mini Maven Magazine, a high end children’s publication for the stylish child and parent. Working with creatives as Editor in Chief is so much fun, I love it so much!
Hire Me For/I'm Good At: Photography, Art & Creative direction, consulting brands and other creatives; helping them take their ideas and making them a reality. I love bringing like-minded individuals together by hosting events or simply making an introduction. Supporting each other means greater chances of success, and I am all for that.
Interested In: I am passionate about what I do and love working with inspiring creatives. Children inspire me and are a constant reminder to keep it real. I am interested in collaborations & sponsorships with like-minded brands and mamas to create powerful messages and campaigns which can shape the future of our little ones through fashion, film, and art.
Mama Likes: Discovering untouched places around the world with a mix of nature, culture, & art. To give my children a true sense of what the world has to offer and be their grounding compass. My guilty pleasures are that post Yoga feel, back to back TiVo sessions of my favorite show with my husband, and Sunsets with a chilled glass (or two) of Rose Champagne in my favorite place on Earth, Costa Careyes.
Words you live by/quotes you love: My daily mantra is “Breathe”. I live by, “Breathe it all in and Love it all out.”
Best advice you’ve ever been given: “If you don’t go you don’t know,” after an inspiring conversation with Quincy Jones, and he was right! AND “Treat others how you want them to treat you”. Two pieces of advice I preach to not only my children, but my friends too!
What is your biggest goal for this year? For Mini-Maven accessible and available worldwide.
