About Me : I am a wife, mother and entrepreneur. I believe in dreaming big, working hard and loving always. I have 2 beautiful children and an amazing husband. We live in gorgeous Denver, Colorado. I worked in marketing in the juvenile industry for most of my professional career. I launched my company, Give Lovely, in October 2016. I have always loved putting together beautiful gifts for friends and family - choosing special, unique items I know they will love, and taking the time to make each gift feel personal and intentional. Give Lovely is my way of bringing my love of gift giving to others. I am passionate about creating a life where you can be truly happy and fulfilled. I believe you can be an amazing mother and partner while running a company. I started my company to create a better life for myself and my family. It is not easy (by any means), but it is important to me for my children to see me working hard every day doing something I love. Because I want to and because I can. My husband and I have a true partnership that is not defined by stereotypical roles.

Why do you want to be a part of heymama?: Community is so important for mothers and women, especially those who are entrepreneurs and creatives. I am passionate about being a "momprenuer" and creating a life you love. I love being a mother and wife, but I also love to work and create. I believe that it is so important for moms to be fulfilled in their lives and, in turn, they will be better mothers and partners.
What are your brand goals for this year?: Having just launched my brand last month my goals are to bring more awareness to my brand and services, become more connected in my community, and help and encourages others to follow their dreams.
Words you live by/quotes you love: "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined"
If you want something, go for it. Don't wait for the "right time" or you will be waiting forever.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?: I heard this analogy from Alli Webb at a conference last year and it has really stuck with me:
There is a reason that in the event of an emergency on a plane they tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself before you put it on your children....
If you can't breath, you won't be able to help them.
This transfers to life as well...
It is important for mothers to do what makes them happy, if mom is not happy/fulfilled your children will feel that and also be less happy.
