Lives In: Santa Monica, CA
About Me: I started my clothing line when I was 19! I did everything from designing, to sampling and production. As I matured and became a mother to Ripley and Tanner, I became really passionate about the home and entertaining, which led to the creation of my lifestyle blog Rip&Tan.
Hire Me For/I'm Good At: Hosting a party!
Interested In: I love collaborating with other creatives and have been really fortunate to do so with some amazing brands! I recently collaborated with Earth tu Face on an organic, natural lotion, and worked with ceramicist Victoria Morris to create unique handmade vases and planters.
Mama Likes: Entertaining, horseback riding, yoga, and gardening
Mama Inspiration: I’m constantly inspired by all of my friends that are also working mothers. And of course, my own mother has always been an inspiration to me!
Brands that most reflect your style or that you’d want to work with: N/A
Words you live by/quotes you love: Less is more.
Best advice you’ve ever been given: My close friend and chef, Annie Campbell, gave me a great piece of hosting advice. Set up a cocktail station with a menu and teach your guests how to create the recipe so you don’t end up playing bartender all night!
Best advice you’d give to someone starting out: I truly believe in the importance of building a great team to support you.
What are three things people would be surprised to know about you? I’m a vegetarian who can’t give up turkey bacon, I’m very athletic, and I cook almost every night for my family!
