About Me: A humanist. A believer in fairies. Connecting people and dots.
Hire Me For/I'm Good At: Turning ideas into prints.
Tell us your #startupstory: I started Tucker with a good idea, but most importantly a great product. Like twirling ribbons, glittery shoes, and cotton drying on the clothes line, Tucker was fresh and enticing and a business was started from the blouse that women love to wear. Details of launching at Barneys, awards won etc. can be found on my resume, but the most important part is that it started with joy and desire.
Interested In: Collaborations, sponsorship and mentoring.
Mama Likes: My children. Reading, walking, sounds. Funny stuff. Looking. Colors. Textures.
Mama Inspiration: All of us, I have a tender spot for the mamas. My mom Ruth McBride Jordan, Margaret Trudeau, Virginia Thoren, Maria McManus.
Words you live by/quotes you love: Jodi Patterson said recently (paraphrasing) ‘Don’t get too crazy during the up times, it’s a cycle, and don’t fight the down times, because it’s a cycle.’
Best advice you’ve ever been given: “Ship on time” - Jeff Rudes, founder of J. Brand.
Biggest goal for this year? Staying courageous.
