Lives In: Cincinnati, OH. Sort of. OK, I live in the 'burbs of Cincinnati but most people barely know that Cincinnati is in Ohio, so let's just keep it easy.
About Me: Currently known to the world as 2sisters_angie. Or Mayhem's mama. I answer to both. Photographer turned mama turned paper dress maker turned answerer of lots of emails. I take my coffee black, my wine red and I'm in desperate need of a pedicure. I have a five-year-old daughter known to the world as Mayhem, but that's not really her name. We have a new puppy named Moxie, so now I have two children running wild through the house who don't listen to me.
Hire Me For/I'm Good At: I'm pretty good at telling stories in a concise way .. heavy on the visuals. I know my way around a camera and have been told I write a good caption.
Interested In: Collaborations with other fun mamas and brands that resonate with us would be lots of fun!
Mama Likes: There's a life outside of work??? Kidding. (Kind of.) Traveling and exploring new places is at the top of my "likes" list. I enjoy making stuff, but I don't consider myself to be the least bit crafty.
Mama Inspiration: The truest of truths: I'm inspired by mamas who are confident in their mama choices AND totally respectful of the other mamas who make different choices for their families.
Brands that most reflect your style or that you’d want to work with: I'm working really hard to have a more simplistic/minimalistic style at home. Which means we're purging a lot of stuff. I really like clean lines and open spaces. Lots of light. And flowy sheer drapes! Personally, you'll find me in jeans and a comfy tee on any given day. And I have a rule about not wearing shoes that I wouldn't be able to chase Mayhem down in ... which fully supports my disinterest in heels ;-)
Words you live by/quotes you love: Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible! (Audrey Hepburn)
Best advice you’ve ever been given: Stay true to you. And do the work others aren't willing to do. It'll take you to amazing places.
Best advice you’d give to someone starting out: Stay true to you. And do the work others aren't willing to do. It'll take you to amazing places. ;-)
What are three things people would be surprised to know about you?
1. I've lived in the same zip code for all 38 years of my life.
2. I'm VERY anxious to move away from said zip code because the world is a very big place and there's much more to see.
3. I dream of living in a different place each month for a year to decide where we'd really like to settle.
