Lives In: Southern California
About Me: I am a mom to two kids ages 5 and 2 and I’m married to an amazing and supportive man who is a huge reason why the rest of this paragraph exists. I started Dulcet Creative (Dulcet means sweet, pleasant or agreeable to the eye or feelings.) with my best friend last year and it was born out of the desire to use our creativity as a way to “sweeten” our every day lives. Our business really is two-fold. We do photography and styling for companies, which has allowed us to work with amazing businesses, meet amazingly talented people, and learn a ton from them. The other portion of our business is our heart for sharing what we’ve learned along the way with others. We hope to develop a community of people connected through the giving and exchanging of ideas, inspiration and encouragement. We started a hashtag campaign called “thedulcetlife” where people can share their passions and talents whether that is a handcrafted good, a simple sketch or a fun DIY project. It has allowed us to connect and share inspiration with people all over the world. Our business is always growing and changing and we’re excited by all of the possibilities of that!

Words you live by/quotes you love: “You cant multi-task presence.”
Best advice you’ve ever been given: My dad would always remind me to let my “yes” be “yes” and my “no” be “no”. It’s as simple and as hard as that. Either say yes and mean it or don’t do it at all. Don’t do anything with half your heart.
Best advice you’d give to someone starting out: You might have to try a few times and fail a whole bunch more but Its ok for you to be the “you” that you are right NOW: the failing one, the feeling one, the learning one. It’s all ok. Just embrace this whole process of jumping in and starting fresh because you were brave enough to do just that; start. That’s the hard part and the rest is filled to the brim with discoveries that teach you so much about who you are.
What are three things people would be surprised to know about you? I have a cosmetology license that I never use, Cleaning makes me feel like my brain cells are dying so it has to be accompanied by informative podcasts, audio books or loud enough music to drown it all out altogether. I once had to dance battle on a late night TV show, so there’s that.
Where can we find you?
